Business Hours
Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:00pm Sat 9:00-12:00
Question: I can not make it to your location during
business hours. Can I make an appointment?
Answer: Yes. Please give me at least a days notice.
Appointments can not be made on Sunday do to a state law.
Question: I'm from out of state, how will this
transaction take place?
Answer: Iowa has a state law that requires all deals to
be done at our physical location. So you will have to travel here. I accept
Cashier's Check. I will not collect use/sales tax, title fees, license fees.
There is s $95 Doc fee at my
dealership. If you are getting a loan you will need to do it with your bank. I
do not offer in house financing. Vin#'s are provided on the main pages. Most of
the time banks feel more comfortable talking to me about making arrangements for
delivery of title. This usually involves getting your signatures and mailing the
paper work to your bank. Most banks are more than happy to help you get your
title transferred after they receive it. If you do not have a loan and make a
secure payment I will release the title to you the day of the sale. Bring your
drivers license, I will need to make a copy for our records.
Question: I'm from far away and I don't want to drive
there. Can I fly in and drive the van home?
Answer: Of course. I'll pick you up at the airport here
in Cedar Rapids. Here is a link to our airport. Eastern Iowa Airport.

Question: Can I leave a deposit to hold a van, so I
have time to make travel arrangements?
Answer: Yes, I require a $500. Nonrefundable deposit.
This will hold the van for 2 weeks. The deposit is nonrefundable because you are
asking me to not sell this van to someone else. I must be compensated if you do
not show. I will accept Visa, Master Card. Or you can mail a check. We
will take the $500 and deduct it from the total due at the end of the sale.
Question: Do you take trades?
Answer: Sometimes, it has to be a commercial vehicle.
This is all I sell. Most of the time people are here to replace a van that has
seen its better days. I will give you an estimated trade price over the
telephone, but you must realize I only retail top quality vans. My procedure is
to put the trade on the back row for 2 weeks. If it sells great if not, I don't
have a lot of space and am forced to auction the vehicle. Unfortunately most of
the trades that come in seem to be close to the end of their life. They don't
bring much. A lot of people find it makes sense to retail their trade themselves. People are
always looking for cheaper vans. If you must trade we will work something out.
Question: I'm from Iowa, how will the transaction take
place?
Answer: You come to the dealership. Purchase the
vehicle with either a Personal Check, Cashier's Check. I will collect tax,
title, license and a $95. Doc. fee. Paper work will be mailed to your county
treasurer and title will be sent to you or the bank in which you have the loan.
Plates and registration will be mailed to you in about 30 days. You will be given
a license applied for tag for the back window.
Question: Where do you get all these vans?
Answer: We buy from many different resources, most of
our vehicles are lease turn ins. We buy direct from leasing companies and we
also buy from auction. We try to buy the best of the best. These vans are hand
picked by the two owners of this company. We look for the vans that have had
good lives.
Question: I see you have mechanically inspected the
vehicles. Can I have another mechanic inspect the van?
Answer: Yes, I do allow outside mechanical inspections.
Within a reasonable traveling distance. 2nd opinions never hurt.
Question: What is your best price?
Answer: Have you determined everything is right about
the van for your needs? If yes, I would be more than glad to give you my best
price. This is a low pressure sales dealership. I will not be calling you back
days later begging for your business. I am very straight forward in my dealings.
As with any business we are here to make a profit, but I do understand the
consumer is always looking for the best deal. We spend a lot of time, money and
effort into making our products the best available, we do the little things,
making sure they are mechanically ready, clean as possible and ready to work. We
do not just set vehicles out to sell. We recondition vehicles so they are ready
to work.
Question: Will I be disappointed if I drive there to
buy a vehicle?
Answer: In 14 years in the commercial business, I still
to this day can say, no one from a long distance away has come here and shared
any disappointments. Compliments I have received are "The van is a lot nicer
than I imagined." "This is the heaven for vans" "I'm going to have to tell
so and so about this place" "Sure glad I found you" Please call me with any
concerns you have before you come. I will do a walk around with you on the
phone, my goal is to provide you with accurate information. I know people in
business don't usually want to have their time wasted.
